BSC Men’s Rugby

Training: Monday & Wednesday 18:30-20:30

The Berliner Sport Club Men’s Rugby team is a mix of experienced players and absolute beginners. At the BSC there is a place for everyone and we pride ourselves on being Berlin’s most social team! Currently we train twice a week (Mondays & Wednesdays at 18:30), tackling everything from basics to team tactics. We are always looking for new players, so whether you’re a novice or an experienced ball handler you are more than welcome. Most importantly, we always find time for a social drink together after doing the hard yards. Our team comprises players from Germany, France, Italy, South Africa, UK, Australia and many more countries giving the club an international feel in the Hauptstadt.

Right now our men’s team competes in the Regionalliga Nordost, against 7 other teams from the neighbouring regions. We play at a competitive standard, but there is growth for everyone to learn the game in the league. So whether you’ve been flirting with dusting off the old boots for a while, or you just want to understand the sport there is a place for you.

Whilst we are serious when we cross the white line, Rugby is our hobby for the ethos it represents and the camaraderie it brings both on and off the field. So win, lose or draw you’ll find us celebrating or commiserating together in our club Casino, or in a bar watching the professionals go at it during the Six Nations, World Cup etc. From camping in Poland, European tours & Beach Rugby we make sure we don’t lose sight of the fun, so come on down and join us.
